The C42KIT General Purpose Food Thermometer Kit comprises a C42F Type T Food Thermometer as well as a PT19L Thin Tip (Type T Thermocouple) Penetration Probe.The C42F Food Thermometer has a Battery life greater than 5,000 Hours from two convenient AA cells as well as the 4-button keypad keeps operation simple. Temperature Alarms are now standard across the C4X range of Thermometers alerting you to out of parameter temperatures (fully user programmable).

The PT19L Thin Tip Penetration Probe is a Type T Thermocouple probe fitted with a 6-Pin Lumberg connector as well as is made for food applications. The PT19L Thin Tip Penetration probe provided in this Kit, is a general purpose fast response probe that is suitable for food temperature (and other temperature measurement) over the critical food range of -4°F to 167°F (-20°C to +75°C) but, with its ability to measure down to -148°F to +482°F (-100°C to 250°C ) it’s a very useful probe for any other application requiring that temperature range. There is also BioCote Antimicrobial Protection in the probe handle to avoid the risk of cross contamination. Coupled with the C42F Type T Food Thermometer it will provide an accuracy of ±0.9°F (±0.5°C) from 32°F to 158°F (0°C to 70°C).
