This Greban knife is made of premium quality stainless steel. Cleavers are not used for cutting through thick, hard bones - instead, it is recommended that you use a band saw, or a manual bone handsaw. This standard cleaver is made for chopping through thin as well as soft bones. The knife's broad side can also be used for crushing food (such as garlic).
