With its rapidly soluble as well as free-rinsing formulation, Evo cleans like no other espresso machine cleaner. Evo also leaves no trace of odour. Coffee oils, grounds and stains are removed, improving the taste and aroma of espresso after the machine is cleaned. A measuring scoop is included in 500g jars for accurate dosing.

Evo is registered by Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA) as an allowed input in organic systems as well as is certified by the OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) standards for the USDA National Organic Program. Ingredients are rapidly biodegradable and odourless. Evo is free from phosphate and Genetically Modified Organisms. Non-GMO and free from phosphates and chlorine. Safe for all machine parts, Evo is listed with NSF. The ingredients and formulation of the products that are NSF certified are safe, leave no harmful residues and do not cause corrosion within the coffee machine. It has been tested, evaluated passed the most stringent toxicology as well as corrosivity standards.

Sodium Carbonate: This is made by the purification of ‘trona’, a naturally occurring mineral from the Green River Basin in Wyoming. It is found in toothpaste as well as used in bakery products. It can also be derived from kelp or seaweed. It is a very effective cleaning agent.

Sodium Citrate: Derived from maize sugar via fermentation, it is found in many soft drinks as well as is used in the production of some cheeses. It is used in EVO to optimise the pH during the cleaning process.

Sodium Percarbonate: This is an oxygen releasing agent that is widely used in toothpaste as well as denture cleaning tablets as well as other cleaning preparations. It is a wonderful cleaning and bleaching agent.

Potassium Carbonate: This is an alkaline agent made from naturally occurring potash rock sources as well as other minerals. It one of the ingredients that provides EVO with its exceptional cleaning performance. It is often used in the production of wine and as a baking agent.

Detergents: EVO also contains a special blend of ecologically friendly, readily biodegradable detergents approved for use by OMRI as well as BFA, two of the world’s leading organic certification organizations.

1. Remove the coffee filter from the group handle as well as swap it out for the "blind" filter
2. For daily cleaning, add 1 level scoop of Evo Espresso Machine Cleaner into the group handle
3. Insert as if brewing a shot of espresso. NB: if machine is cleaned less often, use 2 scoops
4. Start the cycle as well as allow to run for 10 seconds to dissolve cleaner; stop the cycle and allow to sit for another 10 seconds
5. Start as well as stop the cycle 4 more times, running each for 10 seconds and stopping for 10 seconds
6. Remove the group handle and rinse well under hot water from the delivery group
7. Turn off
8. Re-insert handle with blind filter to rinse. Start as well as stop the cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds, ensuring a thorough rinsing
9. Remove the blind filter and re-insert regular filter
10. Brew and discard a single espresso to re-season the machine

1. Soak the group handles as well as filters in 500ml of hot water mixed with 2 scoops of Evo Espresso Machine Cleaner for 10 minutes
2. Rinse thoroughly in running hot water
