The coffee machine uses coffee filter size 4 as well as also highlights a blooming function for even greater aroma. There is also a removable aroma funnel in the coffee machine, which helps deliver superb mixing in the carafe. This is inspired by hand filter brewing and pre-brews the coffee with a little water to give the coffee a pleasantly soft mouthfeel. This prevents the formation of bitter sediment. The separate hotplate keeps your coffee warm for up to 40 minutes. This is especially useful when making extra coffee. The coffee maker's extra-large water tank holds 1.5 litres. The timer function allows you to set the machine in advance – for example, if you like waking up to freshly-brewed coffee.
